These archives contain a listing of pension records that make mention of the revolutionary period in the upcountry. It’s divided into two sections, 1776, covering the battles of Seneca, Brasstown, the Ring Fight and the destruction of the lower towns; and 1780-1790 covering pensioners that served in the 2nd Cherokee Campaign (Sept-Oct 1782) or garrison duty on the Cherokee-Georgia-South Carolina borders.
